About Me
With over 35 years of experience in training management, consulting, and instructional design, I have transitioned into a freelance role, specialising in delivering Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) for adults. In addition to my MHFA expertise, I hold qualifications as a Meditation teacher accredited by the British School of Meditation and as an EFT tapping/Matrix reimprinting practitioner and registered with the UK Reiki Federation as a therapist.
My journey in the field of MHFA is deeply personal as I have faced and conquered my own battles with poor mental health. This first-hand experience has given me profound insights into the profound effects it can have on one’s health, employment, and social interactions.
As a mother of three children and a proud grandmother of two, I’ve navigated the challenges of life, including the loss of parents and a spouse. These diverse life experiences have equipped me with a unique perspective, allowing me to empathise with and deeply understand the devastating impact of depression and anxiety. This empathy is a cornerstone of my approach.
I offer MHFA training in both in-person and online formats, making it accessible to a broader audience. My primary language for instruction is English.
