What is counselling?

Counselling is a process of talking about and working through personal issues and problems in a safe space.

Based at our therapy centre in Blaenavon, our service offers affordable one-to-one sessions to individuals who require the intervention of a talking therapy.

Counselling is often used to help manage, and sometimes to treat, emotional problems and mental health issues. We offer counselling on a number of issues, including but not limited to:

  • Depression
  • Bereavement
  • Alcohol/substance use
  • Anger
  • Stress
  • Family difficulties
  • Anxiety
  • Suicidal thoughts/feelings

Whilst referrals can be made to our counselling service via GP’s or other professionals, you are also able to self-refer.

What is Reiki?

Reiki is an alternative therapy, which may help promote a sense of well- being. It can be beneficial in many situations, as it is deeply relaxing, however it can be especially helpful for those who may be feeling overwhelmed or stressed.

Promoting a sense of well-being, many find Reiki encourages and supports positive lifestyle choices.
