About Me
Hi I’m Caroline and I am a Mental Health and Wellbeing Lecturer based at Coleg Cambria in North Wales. I am a fully qualified teacher, assessor and mental health first aider. My passion for mental health began many years ago having lived experience of anxiety and depression. Upon becoming a teacher my passion began to grow for supporting others so I undertook training in mental health courses and then began to teach so I could pass on the knowledge and coping strategies to others so they can support their own mental health and that of others. Working at Coleg Cambria delivering mental health courses has brought my passion to life and I am fulfilling my dream to empower others in ensuring they have good mental health and wellbeing. Undertaking the instructor training for MHFA Wales has been such as positive learning experience and I am really looking forward to delivering these courses to others to gain the skills required to be mental health first aiders.
