Bethan Roberts

About Me

Bethan is a trainer and consultant with extensive experience of designing and delivering training courses.
Bethan became a Wales Government Approved Mental Health First Aid Instructor in 2008 and has been regularly delivering Mental Health First Aid courses since then, both in-person and online, to public, private and third sector organisations. In 2018, she became an approved i-act instructor (i-act is an accredited mental health and wellbeing programme for understanding and managing mental health and wellbeing in the workplace) and frequently delivers these courses to managers as well as frontline staff. Bethan is a Mindfulness Teacher and Trainer for the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice at Bangor University and was Mental Health tutor at Cardiff University for many years. She has also delivered several courses on ‘Mental Health Awareness for Managers’ across a range of Civil Service Departments in England, Scotland and Wales. The groups she has taught range from volunteers at a mental health peer mentoring project to Members of the Senedd at the Welsh Parliament.
